The dump bed can do more than just hold a load wheelbarrow-style. The video above shows how built-in extension arms can support large flat materials (up to 4-by-8 sheets) and how the ends of the bed can drop to hold long loads.
The clip above shows how easy it is to drive the Mule from behind. The Mule in the video is loaded with ~200 pounds (90.7 kg) of supplies. Note that full capacity is 300 pounds.
We use a small-scale testbed to prove out our control algorithms and hardware. The video above shows the scaled testbed in action.
